What is Belkyra?

It is an injectable product composed of deoxycholic acid, which is a substance that our body produces naturally, which we inject under the skin, destroying the fat located in the area.

The acid breaks the cell membrane, destroying the adipocyte instead of emptying it, which means that it cannot refill itself and it is impossible for it to recover, which is why it is classified as permanent treatment.

Who is the ideal candidate?

This treatment is indicated for patients of both sexes between 35 and 65 years old, who accumulate fat in a mild or moderate way, with a slight skin flaccidity, elastic skin and with retraction capacity. The previous diagnosis is very important, since in very voluminous jowls or with a lot of flaccidity this treatment is not very effective.

How is it used?
